The Georgia Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery advocates for the practice and profession of dermatology and fights for quality patient care in Georgia.  Our advocacy work involves a variety of activities, including:
  • Representation in the Georgia General Assembly
  • Grassroots activities
  • Political Action Committee
The most effective way for physicians to influence the political process is to get involved!  Be educated and stay informed!  `

GENERAL GSDDS LEGISLATIVE FUND

A portion of your annual membership dues are earmarked for GSD's Legislative expenses, including employing the services of a lobbyist. This is, however, not enough. Contributions to the GSDDS Legislative Fund are needed to supplement the dues and ensure Georgia dermatologists are represented well in the Georgia General Assembly. Any contribution amount is welcome. Thank you!
